Nwemba Joysline Nchenya is a Cameroonian-born singer and songwriter with the artist name Joycee Peters. She was born on the 1st of October, 1997 and the first of six children. She was raised in Cameroon by her mother and step-father cause she lost her biological father to death at age four. Joycee Peters is a wife to Atanga Peter Paul(a labourer in word and doctrine) and a mother to Atanga Peter Paul Jr.
Music has been in her right from childhood. Whether mommy liked it or not, she had to buy all the latest from Joycee's favourite gospel artists. Joycee was in charge of the CD player back then, she would play, mimic and sing along with her favourite artists all day long. She would; use the spoons in the kitchen as her microphone and the whole kitchen as her audience, rehearse to her mirror, sing in church, write songs, be involved in school singing competitions, gather fellow students to vocally coach them. Some even called her a ¨noise maker¨ because, "she always sings", singing was more than a passion to her.
As she grew older and in the knowledge of CHRIST JESUS, she became persuaded to spread the gospel of JESUS CHRIST through her music.
Though she studied accountancy, she believes the gospel of Christ through music is her service which will outlive this life.
Joycee Peters admires gospel musicians in the likes; CeCe Winans, Prosper Menko, Tasha Cobbs, Minister Etta, Sinach, Ada Ehi, and so on. Watching their service to the Lord all these years, assured her that the gospel through music is a noble course.
Late 2021 marks her professional beginning with the release of her debut single titled, ¨Till Forever Comes¨ a solo that discloses all about a Christian's relationship with JESUS CHRIST. It is a Christian's victory song, she says.
She assures the world of more revelation-music that is, music that reveals JESUS CHRIST; who is God Almighty, Savior, Healer, Deliverer and so on. She needs you to expect her debut E.P titled; ¨The Day¨, soonest!
